The first Playback School Asia took place in Singapore in 2012, with 5 residential courses over 12 days, and over 65 students coming from 9 countries.
The Centre for Playback Theatre is returning with its second comprehensive residential training program in the summer of 2015 – to continue its support for the rapidly growing playback community in Asia.
This time we host our program in the Philippines to develop and empower Playback activities there to alleviate suffering & support the building of healthy and vibrant communities following the devastation by Typhoon Haiyan and other environmental challenges.
We invite playbackers from across the Austral-Asian region to join this rich experience and exchange – to meet, play, learn with and from each other, and to continue nurturing bonds of connection over space and time.
We will be teaching in English, and we will negotiate appropriate language support for students who need translation.
Each course is taught by TWO trainers of long experience.
